Declining an alert

Keep your simulator accurate

Couldn't follow an investment alert? Here's how to decline it, illustrated step by step.

Decline an investment alert

The pace of investment alerts on financial markets can be sustained. If you couldn't follow one, Privanext lets you decline it in a couple of clicks. Every screenshot below is clickable — click any of them to enlarge it.

Why bother declining an alert? It's important to let the simulator know when you couldn't follow a signal. Once notified, it takes the decline into account and keeps an extra cash reserve for your next purchases. Skip this step and your future investment decisions may be based on a simulation that no longer matches what you actually did — meaning you won't get the full benefit of Privanext.
1
Step 1

Make sure you're signed in

Sign in to your Privanext account. The alerts you can decline are tied to the portfolios you've subscribed to, so you'll need to be authenticated before going any further.

2
Step 2

Open the "Your Wealth" tab

In the left-hand menu, under "Principal", click "Your Wealth" (the dollar-sign icon). This is where all your subscribed portfolios are listed.

3
Step 3

Open the portfolio linked to your subscription

In the "Portfolios" table, find the portfolio tied to your subscription — in this example, 50K CHF — and click its name to open its details.

4
Step 4

Find the alert and click the blue eye icon

Go to the "Your Alerts" section of the portfolio. It lists every signal generated for this portfolio, with its date, symbols and quantities. Locate the alert you couldn't follow and click the blue eye-shaped button on its row.

5
Step 5

Confirm in the popup

A "Your Alerts" window explains what happens next: the alert will be removed from the simulator's display, but it stays recorded and accessible from the tool for later consultation. Click "Delete" to decline it.

6
Step 6

Made a mistake? Undo it anytime

The alert now appears marked as declined. If you clicked by mistake, simply click the red back-arrow icon on that row to restore it. This is how you keep your alerts up to date and your simulator accurate over time.
